A Kirkcaldy OAP facing three charges of bigamy has continued to plead his innocence.
Alexander Paton, 68, has been charged with marrying three women while already wed.
At Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Friday, Paton maintained his pleas of not guilty on all three charges. A trial date was set for December.
The pensioner denies bigamously marrying Perla Pilapil Montilla on October 14, 2006, at the registrars office in Albany Gate, Glenrothes, and co-habiting with her as her husband while lawfully the husband of Dorothy Campbell.
Paton denies two further allegations that he bigamously married Ludit Gherghiteanu on June 20 2007, at the registrars office in Glenrothes, and also Margaret Nicol or Paton on July 14 2012, at Prospecthill Christian Fellowship in Greenock.
He is next due in court on November 29 with a trial date set for December 12.
