Fife firefighter Stevie McCrorie has reached the final stages of The Voice.
Following a tense sing-off against the other seven contestants left in mentor Ricky Wilson’s team, the 29-year-old was given the fantastic news by the Kaiser Chiefs’ enigmatic frontman that his version of U2’s I Still Haven’t Found What I’m Looking For was enough for him to make it to the live finals of the BBC hit talent show.
Along with Team Ricky’s fellow finalists Emmanuel Nwamadi and Autumn Sharif, Stevie will now go head to head to win the hearts and minds not to mention votes of the great British viewing public.
Wow!!Thank you all! Genuinely felt shivers right up my back when ricky said my name and my legs went to jelly! Sorry about that #TheVoiceUK
