ByThe Courier Reporter
The football fan’s favourite half-time snack came under some serious scrutiny in Dunfermline.
Judges, including Fife Provost Jim Leishman, were sampling the entries in an effort to find the perfect pie at the 17th World Scotch Pie Championships.
Running for 17 years, the competition, which is supported by Scottish Bakers and the Scottish Federation of Meat Traders, aims to highlight high quality artisan pastry products.
The winners will be announced at a later date.
