Dunfermline fans invited to take the East End Park zip wire challenge
ByThe Courier Reporter
For the first time, Pars fans can zip across the pitch at East End Park.
Two local charities, the Pars Foundation and Dunfermline Advocacy, will benefit from the first ever charity zip wire held at the ground.
The May 21 event, where participants will be cheered on by Jim Leishman, hopes to raise thousands of pounds for the charities.
“Can you imagine standing up at the top of the Norrie McCathie stand in East End Park, then hurtling over 100 metres across the pitch?” said event organiser Elyse Kirkham.
