Police launch probe after man’s death in Dunfermline

Police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead in Dunfermline.

Officers are understood to be conducting door-to-door inquiries in the Abbeyview area after a body was discovered at an address in Skye Road.

It is understood the dead man is 39 year-old Duncan Banks.

A spokesman for Police Scotland said: “Police in Fife are investigating following the discovery of the body of a man at an address in Skye Road, Dunfermline around 5pm on Monday, September 28.

“The death is currently being treated as unexplained and inquiries into the full circumstances are ongoing.”
