A major search and rescue operation at the Clackmannanshire Bridge on Sunday found nothing of concern, police have confirmed.
The crossing was closed for several hours following reports of a body in the Firth of Forth.
Emergency services, including a coastguard helicopter, conducted a search but were stood down later that night when nothing was found.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Following multi-agency search activity carried out around the Clackmannanshire Bridge on Sunday, nothing of any concern was found and the operation was stood down later that evening.
“We will continue to monitor the situation and conduct further inquiries if any relevant information is brought to our attention.”
