ByClaire Warrender
A man was cut from his crashed car by firefighters following an early morning accident in Fife.
Just one car was involved in the smash on the B922 Cluny to Kinglassie road at around 2.30am on Sunday.
One man was trapped and another managed to get out before the emergency services arrived.
Two fire appliances, one from Glenrothes and the other from Methil, were on the scene where crews used cutting equipment to free the trapped man.
Both casualties were taken to hospital by ambulance.
Their conditions are not yet know.
The accident came as the B922 served as part of a diversion route due to the closure of the A92 between Kirkcaldy’s Redhouse roundabout and the Bankhead roundabout at Glenrothes.
