George Johnston even offered one teenager a sex toy, the High Court in Edinburgh heard. Johnston, 48, of Colinton Place, Dundee, had denied sexually abusing the girls beginning in 2004. However, he was found guilty of assault, indecency, indecent assault and sexual assault of the victims. Johnston was convicted of attempting to rape one of the girls at a house in Fife. He was also convicted of assaulting a boy who was punched and struck on the head. A judge told Johnston at the High Court in Edinburgh it was “a difficult and distressing case”. Lady Clark ordered that Johnston should be kept under supervision for a further three years, and he was placed on the sex offenders register.
