A man is to stand trial accused of blocking a road during an alleged road rage incident then getting out of his car to hurl abuse at another motorist.
Ryan Dolan, 22, is alleged to have driven his BMW “without leaving sufficient stopping distance” behind a car before “overtaking at excessive speed for the road conditions”.
Prosecutors say he then stopped for no reason and prevented the other car from passing before getting out of his car, approaching the other car “in an aggressive manner” and repeatedly shouted and swore at its occupants.
Dolan, of Dundee, denied behaving in a threatening and abusive manner on the A919 between St Michaels and St Andrews on August 8.
