William Marshall, 42, made no plea or declaration when he appeared in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court. He was granted bail but this is being appealed by the Crown. Ms Edwards was found dead at her home in Deas Wharf during the early hours of June 14. Her family described the 45-year-old as an intelligent and talented musician and sports therapist who had travelled the world. Paying tribute, they said: “We are devastated by the loss of Jennifer, who was a much loved mother, daughter and sister.”
