A plan to make more of Fife’s picturesque harbours is to be discussed.
A study found harbours in the region bring in around £1.34 million a year from sailing, cruising or fishing activities.
But the research has shown that most of the area’s harbours are not well known by leisure sailors and many lack the features necessary to meet their needs.
Now users have been invited to discuss a strategy and action plan for marketing and developing the leisure sailing facilities Fife has to offer.
The meeting, being held at 6pm tonight at Fife renewables innovation centre in Methil, will focus on the findings of the research commissioned by Fife Council.
