A Fife woman wowed the crowds at the SSE Hydro on Friday night when she was invited up on stage with supergroup U2.
Jacqueline Dickson, who works in St Andrews, has become something of an internet star after dancing with U2 frontman Bono and other members of the band in front of thousands of fans in Glasgow.
Miss Dickson, from Dunfermline, was plucked out of the crowd by Bono during Mysterious Ways and impressed the singer with her dance moves.
Indeed, Bono, the Edge, bass player Adam Clayton and drummer LarryMullen all showed their appreciation for her as she strutted her stuff within feet of her heroes.
After an embrace with Bono she won’t ever forget, she was then asked to film the sellout crowd from the stage during the band’s performance of Elevation with the footage shown on the Hydro’s huge screens.
Clearly a massive fan of the Irish band, Miss Dickson said she was “blessed” and described the moment as a “dream”.
The show was part of the supergroup’s Innocence + Experience 2015 tour, which has been selling out venues around the world.
Bono told the enthusiastic Scottish crowd: “It’s been a while. Thank you for your patience, thank you for sticking with us and giving us a great life.”
Miss Dickson said: “I can’t even believe it happened! How does life go on? Haha! More shows?”
