Wayne Fleming’s relatives have invited townsfolk to gather in Riverside Park at 6pm to lay flowers in tribute to the 39-year-old. Mr Fleming, also known as “Bagsy”, had been reported missing in July having not been in contact with his family for over five months. His cousin, Debra Moore, told The Courier that she hoped that as many people as possible will turn out. “He was a caring, funny guy,” she said. “Wayne always had a smile on his face. “We’re wanting everybody to come down with a smile on their face and to lay some flowers in memory of Wayne.” The event will take place at a footbridge crossing the River Leven, just below Leslie Road.
