Fife man struggled with barmaid after being told to clear up broken glasses

A man was upset at being told to leave a Dunfermline pub having cleared up the mess he made by smashing glasses, the sheriff court heard.
Gary Marshall, 29, of Castle Avenue, Crosshill, admitted that on May 24, at Somewhere Else, Guildhall Street, he behaved in a threatening or abusive manner, broke glasses, refused to leave when asked to do so, and repeatedly shouted, swore and struggled with an employee.
He also admitted assaulting a woman by pushing her, causing her to strike a vehicle and damage it.
Solicitor Ian Beatson said: “He became upset that having tidied up the mess he was being asked to leave.”
