A Kirkcaldy nightspot is to reopen to the public just a fortnight after closing its doors.
It will be business as usual at Society on Saturday after the venue suddenly closed earlier in the month.
Nearly 30 staff were told that the Charlotte Street nightclub was to close, with fears expressed for the town’s wider night-time economy.
However, the business, owned by the Melville family, is to be operated by seasoned nightclub operator Bryan Reed, who was previously involved in the town’s former Candle Rooms club.
He said that Society would once again become a seven-day operation and that he hoped to recruit as many of the former staff as possible.
