Young dad named as victim of north Fife road crash

A man has died following injuries he suffered in a road accident near Cupar two days ago.
Adam Maxwell (28), who is understood to have been a panel beater from Buckhaven, was involved in a collision with a 4×4 towing a horsebox on the A916 Kennoway Road at Craigrothie on Wednesday morning.
Mr Maxwell was airlifted to Ninewells Hospital, Dundee, where he died from his injuries on Thursday evening.
The accident happened on a country road near Cupar on Wednesday morning when Mr Maxwell’s Vauxhall Nova collided with a Jeep Grand Cherokee driven by an 80-year-old woman, who sustained minor injuries.
Friends of Mr Maxwell, who owned a car repair company, paid tribute to him on Facebook describing him as “a true gent” and “a great friend to many who would do anything for anyone.”
