Scott Davies has progressed to the semi-final.
A St Andrews chef will continue his quest to make the final of BBC cooking competition MasterChef: The Professionals.
Scott Davies, head chef at the Adamson, is down to the final six and will compete in a head-to-head semi-final at the two Michelin-starred Sat Bains restaurant in Nottingham.
The chefs will each be responsible for a highly complex dish from the restaurant’s menu then the two semi-finalists return to the studio for one last challenge before their future is decided.
The show airs on Thursday night at 8pm on BBC Two.
