Police following ‘positive line of inquiry’ in Dunfermline incident

Police investigating claims a six-year-old boy in Dunfermline was approached by a teenage boy say they are taking the incident “seriously”.
Local Inspector Ian Flynn said: “We are aware of concerns in the community regarding an incident where a six-yearyear old child was approached by a teenage boy in Britton Court, Dunfermline on Friday evening.
“I want to let you know that we are taking this seriously but also give some reassurance that this is an isolated incident and we do have a positive line of inquiry.
“Thanks to everyone who has got in touch.”
