Aberlour is looking for volunteers to brave the cold waters of the Forth on New Year's Day.
Children’s charity Aberlour has invited loony dookers to take a splash in the Forth on New Year’s Day.
Adventurous bathers are being invited to take the plunge during the Limekilns Breakfast Dip on January 1, on the beach by the promenade.
With filled rolls and hot soup and drinks served from noon, the dipping for those brave enough to enter the freezing waters will commence at 1pm. There will also be a competition for the best headgear.
Registration costs £7.50, with proceeds going to the Aberlour Child Care Trust, and can be done at www.limekilnsdip.eventbrite.co.uk.
