Drugs worth £15,000 found during police raid in Glenrothes

Police in Fife have arrested and charged a 23-year-old man following the recovery of Class A drugs in Glenrothes.
Officers carried out a search of a property in the Macedonia area on Friday and seized a quantity of Amphetamine with a maximum street value of £15,000.
A report has been submitted to the procurator fiscal and the man is expected to appear in court at a later date.
Community Sergeant Kenny Greig said: “The sale and supply of controlled drugs is not acceptable.
“We will not let people profit from behaviour that has a significant detrimental impact on the quality of life of other local residents.
“We’re committed to tackling drugs in Glenrothes, and anyone with information about the use, sale or supply of controlled drugs in their area is urged to contact Police Scotland on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
