Police in Fife are investigating a series of sneak-in thefts in the Markinch area.
The incidents have occurred over the last week, between Wednesday, April 8 and Tuesday, April 14.
A variety of personal items have been stolen, including a Dell laptop, in the incidents, with thieves targeting properties in Thofthill and Newton Road.
Officers have revealed that the suspects have been disturbed on a number of occasions during the early hours of the morning, and that positive lines of enquiry are being progressed,
Detective Constable Kieran Marsh said: “I would like to appeal to anyone with information about those responsible, or the crimes themselves, to contact police.
“We would also remind members of the public to ensure that their homes and vehicles are secured appropriately and that all residents remain vigilant and report any suspicious activity to police.”
