Lobster pots destroyed in Fife fire

Fife fishermen are tonight counting the cost of a fire which destroyed lobster pots at Buckhaven.

Firefighters from Methill were called to the town’s West Wynd shortly after 9.30pm.

A spokeswoman said the pots had been found “well alight” and that a “significant” number had been affected.
