Andrew Ferguson faced the allegations at the High Court in Glasgow on Monday. Ferguson, 34, of Cairneyhill, is accused of 16 separate charges involving four women. He is said to have raped and indecently assaulted one of them between 2007 and 2014. Prosecutors allege this took place while she was “asleep and incapable of giving or withholding consent”. The accusations also include claims Ferguson raped two of the other women and carried out a sex attack on the fourth. The 16 charges span between 2000 and 2014. The incidents are said to have happened in Dundee, Alloa, Clacks and different locations in Fife. The trial will start next May in Edinburgh.
