The woman accused of murdering Leven grandmother Mary Logie faces further theft charges. Sandra Weir, 40, has been charged with theft and theft by opening a lockfast place. She has also been accused of attempting to pervert the course of justice and attempting to defeat the ends of justice. Weir, of Green Gates in Leven, made a second appearance in private at Kirkcaldy Sheriff Court on Thursday afternoon. She made no plea or declaration and the case was fully committed. Weir, who was remanded in custody after her first appearance on a murder charge last week, was again remanded. Mary Logie, who was 82, was found dead in her home on Tuesday January 5.
