Raith Rovers mascot Roary Rover is hoping singing sensation Stevie McCrorie is on the ball as he takes to the stage on Saturday night. The cuddly lion took time out from training to send out an almighty ROAR wishing Stevie good luck in the final of BBC1 hit show, The Voice. Thirty-year-old Stevie, a firefighter based in Kirkcaldy, hopes to score a number one single if he wins this year’s contest. And he has the backing of local club Raith Rovers, which has made him his own team shirt to be sent to him after the final show. Roary declared Stevie a great singer and said: “He’s got a brilliant voice and everyone at Starks Park wishes him all the best. “Good luck, Stevie!” Player Callum Robertson echoed Roary’s sentiments, adding: “Everyone seems to like him and I want him to win, of course I do. “All the best to Stevie.” Stevie wowed all four judges on the talent show at his blind audition and has been the bookies’ favourite since. Millions are expected to tune in for the final.
