Fife firefighter Stevie McCrorie has already secured his place in the final of The Voice if bookmakers are to be believed.
The singer is the 6/4 odds-on favourite to win the competition and Ladbrokes has said it expects to pay out a five-figure sum if he makes the final after Saturday’s show.
Stevie is followed closely in the betting by Team Ricky stablemate Emmanuel at 7/2, whilst Sheena finds herself as the most likely female to win as a 4/1 shot.
In previous years of The Voice, the favourites to win the title have crashed out of the competition early but Ladbrokes believes that trend is about to come to an end.
Jessica Bridge of Ladbrokes said: “Favourites have had a terrible run in previous years, but having led the betting from the beginning it looks like Stevie may finally break the curse.”
Ricky Wilson is 8/11 on to the the winning coach followed by Will.i.Am at 2/1 and Rita Ora on 11/2.
Sir Tom Jones trails at 25/1.
Stevie has said he is “overwhelmed” by the support he has been receiving.
