Police have confirmed that the death of a 19-year-old man in Glenrothes is not being treated as suspicious.
Officers were called to the Glenwood Centre on Wednesday morning and described the teenager’s death as “unexplained” pending further enquiries.
However, a spokesperson for Police Scotland said investigations had ruled out foul play.
”Police in Glenrothes were called to an address in Glenwood Centre around 9.15am on Wednesday February 3 following reports of concern for a man,” a spokesperson said.
“Sadly, upon arrival, officers discovered the body of a 19-year-old.
“The death is being treated as non-suspicious and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.”
