Police investigating the murder of Leven grandmother Mary Logie have made a renewed appeal for witnesses.
Local area commander Chief Inspector Adrian Annandale said: “Again, I ask anyone who has information relevant to the murder inquiry to please contact police immediately on 101.
“Alternatively, information can be passed anonymously through the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
Mrs Logie, 82, was beaten to death with a rolling pin in what police described as a shocking attack.
A neighbour found her on her living room floor on Tuesday evening last week.
A white Ford Transit van has been removed from the scene in Green Gates but police would not confirm if this was linked to the inquiry.
The flat next door has also been searched by forensic officers.
Mr Annandale said police patrols had been stepped up in the area.
