Frame the Bridge picture yourself as a piece of Queensferry Crossing history
ByLeeza Clark
We’ve named that bridge and now we can frame that bridge.
Selfies and snaps will form a unique online record of the new Queensferry Crossing.
The new campaign is encouraging the public to take their pictures with the ongoing bridge building works in the background.
Images can then be uploaded to “The People’s Bridge” an animated, interactive mosaic of the finished bridge made up entirely of shots taken by the public.
Frame the Bridge aims to build on the popularity of 2013’s Name the Bridge campaign, which saw more than 35,000 people vote.
It also recognises how visually spectacular the works have become and the fact they are already proving a big draw for both amateur and professional photographers.
Frame the Bridge offers people a chance to add their own face, or that of friends and family members, to the online mosaic.
