A Dunfermline youth who launched an act of “thuggery” on two victims at a pizza shop has been taken into custody ahead of sentencing.
Dylan Cameron repeatedly stamped on the head of a man he had knocked to the ground, causing him to lose consciousness.
Cameron, 18, of Izatt Avenue, admitted that he assaulted Conner Gillespie on October 18 last year at Pizza Boy, Carnegie Drive.
He also admitted assaulting Jamie Merrilees by repeatedly punching him on the face, dragging him to the ground and repeatedly kicking and stamping on his head, causing him to lose consciousness, all to his injury.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said the two men attacked had gone to the Pizza Boy takeaway shop after leaving Harlem nightclub at 3am.
They were approached by Cameron, who was known to Mr Gillespie. Cameron then butted Mr Gillespie and when Mr Merrilees stepped in to defend his friend he was attacked, dragged on to the road and kicked to the head and body.
A friend who had been with the two men attacked became involved and punched Cameron to the throat.
Ms Yousaf said the incident was recorded on CCTV and Cameron was seen approaching the three men again.
He then punched Mr Merrilees to the head, dragged him to the ground, kicking and stamping on his head. Mr Merrilees lost consciousness in the assault and was taken to Victoria Hospital, suffering bruising and a lost tooth.
Cameron was remanded in custody ahead of sentencing on March 30.
