The accident occurred near the Redhouse roundabout, on the northbound section of the A921 Rosslyn Street, around 3.30pm. An ambulance rushed the rider, who was conscious, to the town’s Victoria Hospital. The road was partially blocked causing tailbacks and heavy traffic on the A921 and the A92.
