Duncan Banks was found dead in his flat on Skye Road on September 28.
Police say the 39-year-old died from multiple head wounds.
Crime-fighting charity Crimestoppers is offering the cash for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of anyone responsible for the crime.
Regional Manager for the organisation Dave Hunter said: “There are people out there who know who did this and I would urge you to contact Crimestoppers anonymously.
“It is extremely important that the person(s) responsible are brought to justice to ensure that they cannot strike again.
“We don’t take personal details and we can’t trace information given online or on the phone. We don’t want to know who you are, just what you know.”
