New jobs are being brought to Fife thanks to Scottish Government funding for a technology company in the region.
Finance Secretary John Swinney will today announce the creation of 29 new positions at payments technology company Clear2Pay in Dunfermline.
The investment by the firm to expand its workforce has been enhanced through £250,000 in Regional Selective Assistance (RSA), awarded through Scottish Enterprise.
The move brings the total number of jobs at the company’s Fife office to 50.
Mr Swinney said: “This is an inward investment from a global company, which is increasing its footprint in Scotland because of the skills and talents that exist in our software development sector.”
Clear2Pay is a payments technology company focused on delivering globally applicable solutions for secure, timely and streamlined payments processing from 24 offices around the world.
Kimball Felix, chief of staff at Clear2Pay, said: “We are very excited that through the RSA scheme we are able to accelerate the expansion of our Dunfermline development centre in Scotland.”
