A Fife drink driver collided with another vehicle when he had a four-year-old child in the car, a court has heard.
Christopher Davidson, 31, of Houldsworth Street, Blairhall, admitted that on January 29 on Halbeath Road, Dunfermline, he drove a car after consuming excess alcohol.
His reading was 47 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, the limit being 22 microgrammes.
Defence solicitor Gwenn Haggerty said her client had taken alcohol following a funeral that day and had been going to pick up his wife from work when the offence occurred.
Sheriff Charles MacNair called for reports.
Sentencing will take place on March 30.
