Police have so far drawn a blank in their search for missing Glenrothes man Allan Bryant, it was confirmed today.
Officers spoke to clubbers at Styx nightclub on Friday and Saturday night as the search continues for the missing 23-year-old.
Revellers visiting the nightclub in the Caskieberran area of the town were spoken to in the hope it might jog the memory of anyone who saw Mr Bryant before he went missing in the early hours of a week past Sunday.
Police have also issued a poster showing a picture of Mr Bryant and the clothes he was wearing when he went missing from Glenrothes last Sunday morning.
A spokesman for Police Scotland Fife Division told The Courier there had been no developments.
The spokesman said: “We had the local community access vehicle and officers outside Styx nightclub on Friday and Saturday nights.
“We have continued searching but there is still no sign of him. Obviously we would renew our appeal for people to check outbuildings etc.”
Officers have been putting up missing person posters targeting areas which include the town centre, the shopping centre in Macedonia and have also been putting posters through doors where there had been no answer during door-to-door inquiries.
The Police Scotland helicopter was deployed last Thursday and sniffer dog teams have also been used.
Mr Bryant’s family have already made emotional appeals for anyone who knows of his whereabouts to get in touch.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 101.
