Four-vehicle collision at Forth Road Bridge causes major traffic problems
ByCheryl Peebles
A four-vehicle accident at the Forth Road Bridge has caused long delays for traffic heading out of Fife.
Police Scotland said no one was hurt in the smash in the southbound carriageway of the A90 approaching the bridge.
However, lengthy tailbacks were caused by the accident, which occurred shortly after 4.30pm, blocking one lane.
Just before 5pm Traffic Scotland said recovery was in progress but that delays were being exacerbated by drivers slowing down to have a look at the accident.
