Fundraising page set up in memory of tragic toddler Logan Carrie targeted by internet trolls

A fundraising page set up in memory of tragic school boy Logan Carrie has been bombarded by internet trolls, asking what the money will be used for.
Maryann Cooper, 32, from Glenrothes, set up the fundraising page in memory of her close friend’s nine year-old son Logan.
He was knocked down and killed on February 10 on the A92 near his home in Cadham, Fife.
Maryann originally set up the fund to raise £700 for Logan’s funeral but donations continued to flood in and over £2,000 has now been raised.
Maryann said that some people have since asked what the spare money will be used for.
She said: “Some people started writing negative comments asking why we were asking for money because funeral directors don’t charge for children’s funerals.
“They were basically making out that we were money grabbing.”
She added: “The family have said they will donate any unused amount to a charity or family experiencing a similar loss of a young one.
“It’s so tragic.”
