A man is to stand trial accused of “coercing” a woman into having sex with another man before sending a “revenge porn” video of the liaison to members of her family on Christmas Day.
Clive Weatherhogg, 42, of Balmalcolm, by Cupar, is alleged to have “intentionally caused” the woman, who cannot be named, to have sex with another man by coercing her between September 10 2013 and September 17 2014 at addresses in Kent and Fife.
Then, on Christmas Day last year, Weatherhogg is alleged to have caused the woman’s sister to view a video of her having sex.
Weatherhogg is also alleged to have shown the woman’s father the video on December 22 and to have uploaded it to the internet, again on Christmas Day.
He pleaded not guilty on indictment to three charges under the Sexual Offences (Scotland) Act, one under the Communications Act and one of behaving in a threatening and abusive manner.
