A Dunfermline man has been jailed for assaulting his partner then punching her mother, all in the presence of a seven-week-old baby.
Jason Robertson, 22, of James Bank Hostel, Dunfermline, admitted that on October 12 at a house in Adamson Crescent he assaulted Isla Bamber by seizing her by the neck and repeatedly pushing her on the body.
He also admitted on the same day assaulting Penny Telford by punching her on the head.
Depute fiscal Azrah Yousaf said there had been an argument between Robertson and his partner after he had gone out with a friend and not returned until the next day.
