Nearly 7,000 Fifers have had their say on proposed council budget savings.
As Fife Council faces the massive challenge of saving £100 million over the next four years, the Big Change Challenge website saw thousands give their views.
Now, local politicians are thanking people for their input, as they use the feedback to prepare their draft budget proposals.
Council leader Alex Rowley said: “There has been a fantastic response to our call to get involved in our budget challenge this year and I’d like to thank everyone who has taken the time to comment so far.
“We’re now going to look at all the feedback we’ve received and use them to prepare our own proposals.”
These will be presented at the council’s executive committee on Tuesday as a draft budget for consultation with public, staff and the political groupings on the council.
“We hope people will then take part in further consultation on our draft budget proposals before we make final budget decisions in February next year,” Mr Rowley added.
Public meetings are being organised in the run-up to Christmas to give people the chance to hear about the budget from councillors.
The Big Change Challenge website will then be refreshed and relaunched with the new savings proposals put online for comment.
