The incident happened at the junction of the A91 with the High Road around 8.45am. A police spokesman said a woman walking on the pavement was struck by one of the pallets. He said she was ‘conscious and breathing’. An ambulance service spokesman said they received the call from the police at 8.45am. The spokesman said the woman was taken to the Victoria Hospital in Kirkcaldy for treatment. No further information was available regarding her condition.
