A businessman is exploring the possibility of Cupar having Scotland’s first “virtual high street”.
Graeme Black, proprietor of Funky Rascal in Crossgate, has got around a dozen independent shops interested.
A representative of a company who couldtheoretically establish a webstore for all theindependent businesses in Cupar is making a presentation at the Rural Business Centre at Elmwood College next Thursday at 6pm.
Mr Black said: “The idea is to make Cupar’s the first virtual high street in Scotland, thus making people more aware of what is on their doorstep, making it easier for them to shop there and support the businesses which drive so much of our local economy.”
