A Dunfermline man who threw a coin in an Asda store, hitting an employee above the eye, told a court it had been aimed at a friend.
Two months later Mark McPhee was in trouble again, smashing up the toilets of a pub and threatening police officers, Dunfermline Sheriff Court heard.
McPhee, 23, of Braemar Drive, admitted that on February 11 last year at the Asda superstore, Halbeath Retail Park, he culpably and recklessly with utter disregard for the consequences threw a coin, causing danger to employees and the public, whereby Yvonne McPherson was struck on the head to her injury.
The customer services worker sustained a bump and bruise to her left eyebrow.
McPhee also admitted that on April 12 last year at Middle Bar, Crossgates, he wilfully and recklessly damaged property by smashing a window, detaching a towel holder and toilet roll holder from the wall and smashing a light bulb.
Sheriff Craig McSherry ordered McPhee to pay £500 compensation for the Asda incident.
Sentencing on the second offence was deferred until June 17.
