ByThe Courier Reporter
A Fife man has been banned from coming to Dundee until he stands trial in the city at the end of March.
Jonathan Whyte, from Anstruther, denied six charges at Dundee Sheriff Court relating to alleged incidents in the city’s Argyle Gate on January 21 and at the police station in Bell Street on the same date.
The charges include assaulting three men, including a police officer, and behaving in a threatening or abusive manner and shouting and swearing.
He further denies uttering racial remarks.
A trial date was set for March 31 and bail was granted on the condition that he does not come to Dundee until his trial date.
