Concern for 80-year-old man missing from his home in Kinghorn

Police in Fife are appealing for information to help trace an 80-year-old man who has gone missing from his home in Kinghorn.
William Binnie, 80, was last seen by his wife last night but he was not in his Myre Crescent home when she woke at 6.30am today.
Police are now growing increasingly concerned for Mr Binnie who has recently been in hospital and may seem confused.
William is described as a white with a medium build. He is around 5ft 6in and has grey hair. He is believed to be wearing a black cagoule, grey/black trousers and a gold watch.
Police are appealing to members of the public in Kinghorn to be extra vigilant when out in the local area today.
Officers are also asking local resident to check sheds and outhouses.
Inspector Stephen Kay said: “We are growing increasingly concerned for William’s welfare and we are appealing to the public for any information regarding his whereabouts.
“William has recently been ill and it is essential that we trace him as soon as possible.”
