A youngster has snapped up a win in a presidential race with a difference.

St Andrews aquarium launched a nationwide competition to ask people to name its two young American alligators, who arrived last month.

Libby Findlay, who is 11 and lives on the Isle of Man, suggested Barack and Michelle, winning a cuddly fish and a family pass to the aquarium for her efforts.

Barack and Michelle join a star-studded line-up that includes meerkats Kate and Wills.
