Police are appealing for witnesses after two galvanised steel gates were stolen from a farm near Knockhill in Fife.
Officers say thieves took the silver-coloured gates from a field around 100 yards north of the crossroads on the A823 Wellwood to Knockhill road some time between 6pm on Monday September 7 and 8am the following morning.
Both gates measure approximately 6ft by 4ft and police are now appealing to anyone with information about the theft to get in touch.
Sergeant Kate Blackwell, of Police Scotland, said: “Both gates are fairly large and I would ask anyone who was in the area around the time of this theft and who saw any unusual behaviour or vehicles to please contact police on 101 or speak to any officer.”
