A time capsule made by high school pupils studying at Fife College has been buried to mark the start of building work on a new campus in Buckhaven.
Construction on the new Levenmouth Campus, which started yesterday, will complement the work currently being done on the new Levenmouth Academy which will accommodate the merger of Buckhaven and Kirkland high schools on the site at Methilhaven Road.
Pupils from Buckhaven and Kirkland high schools, Iona McGhie, Kieran McCallum, Jack Morris and Connor Methven, helped to bury the capsule along with Lisa Kinnaird, Fife College student vice-president.
