Police treating man’s death in Glenrothes as “unexplained”

Police in Fife say they are treating the death of a man in Glenrothes as unexplained.
Officers discovered the man’s body at an address in Tummel Road at around 12 noon on Monday after being called to the property amid concern for the man.
The flats were cordoned off and an investigation into the man’s death has begun.
A Police Scotland spokesman said: “Police in Fife attended an address on Tummel Road, Glenrothes, at 12.00 p.m. on Monday, April 13 following reports of concern for a person.
“The body of a man was found within and his death is currently being treated as unexplained pending further investigations.”
The man’s identity has not been revealed by police, and a post-mortem will be carried out in due course to find out more about how the man died.
