Police are investigating the theft of a black horsebox lorry from the Fordell Estate just outside Dunfermline on March 13.
The Leyland DAF vehicle has the words ‘Lime Salon’ on the side and was stolen from near to the Fordell Firs Scout centre sometime between 6pm and 8.50pm.
Officers are now asking anyone who has seen this vehicle or who has information that can help them with their investigation to get in touch.
Detective Constable Alasdair Young from Dunfermline CID said: “The stolen vehicle is very distinct looking and the chances are someone remembers seeing it over the past week.
“I would appeal to anyone who may have seen the vehicle since the theft to contact the Police on 101 or anonymously via Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
